just to cover a few bases here - gusset is the work of one person - kylie gusset. so what's with the we thing? you can safely blame it on people guising themselves as corporations, and zeldman nails it too - it tends to be easier when you're playing let's pretend. maybe it had something to do with mrs middleton in high school english telling us not to use "I" in our work for her. we don't reckon she was expecting one of her students to start writing as more than one person, but hey...it works for us.
the whole reason why we started gusset was to learn a bit about the business of building websites, and it's been a long, time consuming road. since we started in about 1998, in frontpage, on tripod (!), we stopped working as a secretary, and went into building, developing, designing and swearing at websites fulltime, which has enabled us to work in sydney, london and melbourne.
we've been in melbourne (or melbs, as we love to call it) for over a year now, and its our fave city to live in. we're studying visual arts and learning the gentle art of being kind to oneself. anything else you have a dying need to know? get in touch.
